Silence is golden

Ahhhh yes, the nieces have been returned to their home, and I am now safely back in my own home, with TJL, just me and him, ohhhh the peace and quiet is DELIGHTFUL!

The trip back was pretty much uneventful, we fed the ducks at Wanganui, and threw another coin into the wishing well, and had a walk through the bird avery.  The girls were so excited when a sulphur crested cockatoo said 'Hello' to them.  If we had known that we would have taken them to TJL's mothers to see her cockatoo, who says a collection of things.  T cannot believe that a bird can speak.  So cute!

Arrived at my sisters around 3pmish.  Nearly had a run-in with BIL when he suggested that I might like to talk to his mother about returning the children with all of their washing done.  The only washing of theirs that I hadn't done was the clothes they were wearing the day before, their pajamas, and their overalls, and I told him so and asked for an apology.  He said 'why?', and I said 'because you were rude', and he said #just saying.  *sigh*

I went for a walk before I did something I regretted.

I had a good time with C, played on the swing with him, and kicked the soccer ball around, looked at some puzzles, and threw him around a bit.

I went to bed at 8.30pm to read somewhere there was peace and quiet.

I didn't get up until 7.30am this morning, I had woken during the night and it took me about an hour or so to go back to sleep.

C got up with me, and we hung out downstairs playing with his cars WITHOUT the TV on (a first for him), and we mucked around until T got up and I got them both breakfast.

I tidied up my sisters lounge, and then headed off at 9am, to check in with my parents before coming home.

During my awake time overnight I thought that I might start to structure my blog a bit more than the random nothingness that it currently is.  So, for the next week at least (maybe), I will start

Meals and Munchies on Monday
Total Home on Tuesday
Weigh-in on Wednesday
My Thoughts on Thursday
Family on Friday (IVF and all things family growing related)
Snap Shots on Saturday
and
Social Sundays.

Social Sundays are not going to be like 'regular folks' 'social', I plan to not turn on the computer, and try really really hard to not turn on the TV.  My social Sundays will not be social media Sundays, these Sundays will be for TJL and I to hang out, for us to be with people in real life, and for me to get stuck into scrapbooking and crafts, and reading.  I will not be blogging on Sundays.

Lets see how we go!

You are a great aunt, sounds like you all had a wonderful time together.
I want to kick your BIL, my jaw dropped when I read that he mentioned the laundry. Seriously how rude and ungrateful is he!!!! I guess we all can be happy we aren't married to that kind of man.
Enjoy the silence (especially not hearing BIL)
